Stoner/heavy rock for the girlpants & reverse hair set? This features a few guys from indie rockers Pinback & Heavy Vegetable. Despite their indie pedigree they can play some good rockin’ riffs. Remincient of 25 Suaves or Sleep crossed with Cheap Trick. Results often vary but are at times interesting.
((1)) Short, noodly mellow guitar intro.
((((2)))) Stoner rock to the hilt with a bit of early Janes Addiction.
((((3)))) Good redundant riff with a serious of sex-ed movie samples.
((4)) Nice thunderous guitars but the silly sci-fi vocals just kill it.
((((5)))) Bong-laden Om/”Dopesmoker”-era Sleep worship with ‘psych pop’
(((6))) Good basic riff more oddball pop & vocals.
(7) Ugh! Boston + Janes Addiction x Led Zep = crap!
(((((8))))) Noodly, slightly spacey, redundant verses with some cool riffs.
(((9))) Doomy slow & bassy, almost spoken vocals.
(((10))) So-so loud rock.
((11)) solid riffs but dumb “wacky” vocals.
((12)) Hazy, bong-y hippy jams…meh.
((13)) OK, fuzzy/stoner rawk instrumental. Walks on well tread ground.
