Hot mostly instrumental Soviet surf. Big guitars, rockin human drumming on plenty of tracks, cool samples synths and sounds. Theremin on 4,6,8, “Sintiesator” played by guest on 13… Loads of fun!
+1.Opens with a sample of what must be a Russian horror/sci-fi B movie, then raucous surf with buzzy chirps and maniacal laughter
+2.A little more mellow. Lots of that buzz bass. ”Popcorn” and handclaps for color, then goes spy-like with horns
3.Minor key Melodia
4.Short little fun number, at one point sample “I’m tired!”
+5.wacky beach party
6.slow, hip hop beat, has some scat song, goes all weird
7.long intro funny evil backmasking in Russian, then Anton organ sample, then straight-up surf that reminds me of Beatles “When My Guitar Gently Weeps”
+8.straight-up surf, with a catlike wail and sunky fynth sounds
9.crying baby and mixed up beats
10.jazz piano sample, fast and chaotic, English film samples
+11.swirling harps intro, gunshots, fun “waaa!” batman surf
+12.hawaiin/lounge…ish.
13.Japanese cop movie sample? Harp. Sly.
14.Surf. Reverb guitar and a drum-machine
15.8 bit synth, odd movie sample intro, super fun novelty track!
16.Makes me laugh though may not be suitable for airplay, if a woman moaning “hurt me! Harder!” over a cheesy organ riff is against community standards… then lots of Brits saying “Good night!”
