Duet improvs with electronics and electronic effects. From the drummer who brought you the Claudia Quintet, a delicately techno-hip kind of avant-jazz group. Fairly aggressive stuff but not that loud; like a low-key sci-fi attack ... or maybe a choppier, edgier kind of new age. Lots of subtle percussion, analog synth blips, jangly autoharp, weird grunty sounds, and occasional sax flurries. Quite good, either way, and a nice dose of sound experimentation with some jazz roots.
- Low-key: Propulsive, percussive sounds. Nicely jangly later.
- Meandering and jazzy, nicely tuneful
- Peaceful whistle tune, then bloopy electronic lushness
- Staggery echoes. Ends with a chuggy, jazzy phase.
- Music box (literally) plus incongruous percussion, low-key
- Sproingy sounds, gaining speed into a small frenzy.
- Crazy-quilt noises in random directions, over low-key autoharp
- Clattery, gets into a groove
- Ethereal whistles, scraping sounds. Mid/fast, tense, eerie
- Electronic scratchiness and deadpan kalimba pinging
- Gentle wood-box percussion, accordion-like tones. Slow.
