Very nice “shoegazer”, ethereal rock. Lots of faded, hazy vocal lines over languid, flowing guitar lines. In the vein of Dif Juz, Slowdive, Ride and Mono.
((((1)))) Pretty, chilled out ambient intro.
((((2)))) Loose, jangly with British sounding ethereal vocals.
(((((3)))) Simple pattern of notes, gets a bit more expansive. Really good guitar work here.
(((((4))))) Fuzzy guitars with more washed out vocals. Mid-paced, stumbly yet also pretty melodic. Excellent.
((((5)))) Slow, shimmery with a few samples in the mix. Very relaxed sound.
((((6)))) Strummy, “typically shoegazer” but still very well done.
(((7))) Vocal centered, almost straight ahead indie pop. Not bad but just kinda “there”.
((((8)))) Short guitar instrumental with a few effects and layers on top of it.
(((((9))))) Slow, sad and ghostly. As if Slowdive mixed with Codeine (the band, not the drug).
((((10)))) Jangly guitar strums with a bit of buzzing & keyboard effects in the mix.
(((((11))))) Bassy, “blissed out” guitar sound and odd metered keyboards. Sounds a lot like a band 4AD would’ve released in the mid-80s.
(((12))) Water perculating into simple strummy guitar with vocals that fall into “meh” territory.
((((13)))) Nice “book end” variation of track #1.
