Hipster City! Anti-folk (whatever that means).
Tracks are either quiet picked guitar & fiddle with highly confessional, depressed over-thought accounts of mundane hipster existence or garage rock. Exception in sound is 1. FCC on 3. Picks 1,8,5,4,2
**1-2:55) Stanzas are buzzy garage rock . Zombies feel on the hook. Kind of catchy. Ends on held chord. About flyering around town.
*2-2:53) Fiddle, gently picked guitar. Quiet background harmonies. Fast spoken/sung. Downer.
3-5:48) Fast. Fiddle, and picked guitar. Surreal account of meeting Will Oldham. Downer. FCC "fuck", "dick", "pussy".
*4-2:20) Fast garagey. Harmony. Breaks into very barebones punk beat. Ends with fading guitar, "over and out" spoken. Then 10 sec. silence.
*5-4:09) Gentle picked guitar. Slightly trippy, wavey banjo and elec. guitar picking in the background. Sung. Surreal lyrics.
6-2:53) Faint electro-dance skeleton beneath acoustic guitar. Lyrics and about depression and anxiety attacks. Fades out.
7-2:30) Garage rock. Psychedelic lyrics about a time machine.
**8-2:50) Echoy banjo and fiddle. Country/folk guitar. Spoken/sung about moving out.
9-5:02) Mid/fast garage rock. -:45 song ends, beg. distorted guitar noodling/solo to end.
10-2:09) Folk guitar, fiddle. Sung. About girl who doesn't put in the effort to meet new people.
11-2:34) Garage rock. pummeling on the floor tom, driving bassline. Abrupt end.
12-1:47) Country/folk guitar, vox w/ effects. Reptitive.
