Ultra-doom metal from Oakland. Fantastically executed stuff featuring members of Dystopia, Weakling and Graceyon among others. This one’s only two songs but two EPIC songs they are. The first clocking in at over 20 minutes and the second coming in just short of an hour. This is not for short attention spans and it’s not “boring”. It builds off the genius of what has doom metal alive today – a music that says so much by using so little. If you like Skepticism, Winter, Therogothon and Monarch – you’ll love this.
(((((1)))))) Snail pace slow, very sullen and in a odd way beautiful in how it moves through each pace.
((((2)))) Quiet intro with lightly played guitar, takes a little while for them to ‘turn up’ but it’s worth it. Nice drumming & some cavereous vocals. Suddendly gets droney & experimental at the 23:00 mark which is consists of low & high pitched tones that’ll you’ll have to turn up to fully hear.
