Often fast, bombastic and often weird black/extreme metal from Japan. This is their fastest most straight-forward release which even for them is still pretty odd in places. Really good mix of all kinds of variations of metal and horror movie soundtrack-like keyboard parts. Features guest appearances from members of The Red Chord, Sacrifice, Ares Kingdom and Giant Squid.
((((1)))) Bombastic horn-like intro into fast & ripping thrashy black metal with punctuated by more of the keyboard parts and “ohh—aah” choruses. Ends with a gothic classical thingy.
((((2)))) “Evil circus” keyboards with a very 80’s solo and more thrashin’ blackness with at least 4 different vocal styles (with one that sounds like King Diamond!)
(((((3))))) Bombastic and speedy with some nice breakdowns and solos.
((((4)))) First part is a big chorus and the ocean. The second part is some really trippy and often changing, epic metal. Like Mercyful Fate gone modern and thrashy.
(((((5)))) Fast and frenzied with more bombastic keyboard parts coming in at the chorus. Excellent guitar tone & tempo almost sounds doomy when the drummer’s blasting away.
(((((6))))) Vicious modern speed metal mixed with dramatic keyboards (occasionally sounding unintentionally silly but that doesn’t last long).
((((7)))) Melodic and very 80’s metal with some nice stop/starts.
(((((8))))) Awesome! A legion of hooves stomping on the ground with a classical-ish march. Second part is slow then ultra-fast black thrash and a bit doomy in the end.
((((9)))) More speed and bombastic black/thrash with some great vocal-based breakdowns and powerful use of the keyboards. Bonus for “The Omen” like chorus.
((((10)))) Epic metal played at thrashin’ pace. Lots of killer guitar tone, wailing solos, strange choruses o’ doom and more weird vocal change ups. The outro is really nice dark ambient piece.
