Technical metal without being too showy mixed with some moody rock influences. They pull off multiple styles and tempos with a righteous flair. In all a pretty damn solid album. Very aggressive metal and very moody/mellacholic rock parts. Comparable to Strapping Young Lad, Gorjira, etc.
((((1)))) Slow, doomy into raging death metal barrage and back to the doomy rock stuff then back again.
((((2)))) Mellow, jazzy rock with horns then jagged aggressive metal with killer riffs & drumming.
(((3))) Clean chords then loud heavy, kinda powerful riffing that speeds up as it goes. The mix of the harsh & clean vox is off-putting though.
(((4))) Tech-thrashing with some nice chords and buried vocals.
(((((5))))) Excellent, dark, languid rock. Nothing too fancy here but a lot of nice tones and vocals.
((((6))))) Tight and focused modern metal with a similarty to Mastadon.
((((7)))) Big, epic slow and chaotic and clangy.
((((8)))) Huge sound, riffy and catchy the clean vox sound like Ozzy (!?)
(((9))) Half mellow and half riffy heaviness. Both are just “there”.
((((10)))) Blurry mix of pummeling metal then somber Middle Eastern yet jazzy rock and back again.
(((11))) Confused but pretty good mix of the clean/mellow and heavy rock.
