Fucked up synth pop. How else to describe this? “Electroclash” died a quick death (thank you goD!) leaving this? No, this is original, just people misusing recording devices, synths, cheap mics and the abundant talent that exists in anyone under the age of 30 who hasn’t been fucked up the ass by society (yet, that is…). For fans of not being not sick and tired of the same old crap, for those who find a certain pleasure seeing the destitute panhandling from the guilt-ridden wealthy patrons of Tartine, and for people who eat their boogers (admit it, loser). This music reminds me of making an absolute bodily-fluid mess with my 24 year old shaved-head girlfriend on an 107 degree August afternoon in Tucson with no air conditioning/cooler.
1) rhythmic electro, noisey
2) mashed up electronoise with strange vocals
3) almost droney, melodies and weirdness
4) sparser, like a synth pop song recorded from another room with tons of distortion
5) slow beat, creepy
6) even more sparse, with test tones thrown in, a mish mash of bizarreness that isn’t hard on the ears
7) tinkling, chiming bells, like being in Tibet on about 1500 micrograms of pure LSD
8) wow, minimal strangeness
9) this one has a pulse, a driving quality and really cool stereo hard-pans and a sick melody
10) minimal near-toy pop with loud sounds thrown in
11) droney almost ambient musical drone, really cool way to “ooohhhmmm” your way down from those 1500 mics
