Classic garage rock with an attitude. Old school rock and roll full of foot-stomping, fuzz-guitar and a general party-like feeling. Overall excellent use of reverb and other guitar effects. Lyrics are funny, but not exactly deep: girls, booze, murder, social estrangement. Kind of a punky attitude here. There's also a couple of tracks that are mellow and bluesy for a nice change. Ok these guys won't win any prizes for creativity but they are good at what they do. I could see a lot of KZSUers appreciating this. Similar to Black Keys, T-Rex, White Stripes, etc.
