Xu Xu Fang- The Mourning Son
Classified as dreamy indie rock, i agree. 8 member group, not sure what everyone does... Pretty calm and serene. Get caught up in the tranquility of Xu Xu Fang as they unleash a strange, but peaceful album with sounds of nature. FCC clean. I like 4 & 6.
1. A whole lot of nothing. Just sea shore sounds.
2. Starts very eerie, then becomes more listenable. Soft vocals, low tempo. Ends with sea shore noises.
3. Just like track 1, just sounds of the beach.
*4. Melodic guitar with creepy quite vocals. Some how reminds me of Lou Reed's voice at times...
5. Thunder rolling in, and rain sounds.
**6. Hushed vocals, song progressively gets louder (not by much). More up tempo than all the other songs. Beachy ending.
-*7. Starts with rain and thunder (lasts 2 or 3 minutes) followed by creepy, mysterious noises (lasts about 7 or 8 minutes). Then it's quite, followed by a rain stick? and then more quite. Then VERY faint, almost inaudible eerie noises. Ends with a stormy beach. LONG ASS TRACK. (Star minus)
