Rather good, noise-rock, heavy em, “post-hardcore” ‘ala Converge, Today Is The Day, Black Cross, Cancer Bats, etc. Sounds more like a band from Hydrahead than Solidstate but regardless it’s filled with a good number of catchy, energetic songs & riffs. Oddly the songs seem to be split into a 1:1 ratio of really heavy numbers sung by one vocalist and melodic numbers sung by the other vocalist.
(((((1)))) Very heavy and pummeling and riffy “post-hardcore”/noise rawk.
((((2)))) Uppity, melodic, shouted yet easy to to grab on to choruses
((((3)))) Hammering sound, lots of mixed tempos.
(((4))) Odd but interesting vocals, sounds pretty “radio friendly” but not a bad thing in this case. Kinda Tool/Deftones styled.
((((5)))) Doomy, heavy, throat shredding vocals.
(((6))) Back to the moody, quiet/loud Tool/Deftones thing. Again, not bad but out of place here.
(((7))) Odd tempo and staying with the melodic yet hard, modern rockish thing ‘alal Tool or Quicksand.
((((8)))) Jesus Lizard crossed with “post-hardcore” and emo? Yeah, something like that. Overlapping vocal lines and lots of stop/starts. Pretty manic but interesting.
((9)) Not sure what’s going on – off-kilter tempos, distrant vocals and very confusing overall.
(((10)))) Swarming, heavy rawk/metal with some good guitar parts that lunge and attack from different angles
