4 songs of good, early college radio-ish rock by this long running Columbus band. Think ‘ala Lou Reed, later period X or even the Minutemen. Tommy Jay, who was in A-file late last year, does drums on this.
(((1))) Faster version of an old Tommy Jay song. Mike Rep’s rock dude” vocals are just so-so, though vs. the original.
(((2))) Laid back, very Lou Reed/Neil Young-llike number. Sounds like this would’ve been a big hit in the 70s.
SIDE B
((((3)))) Slow, steay, strummy, tune with nice guitar & drumming and minimal keyboard bits. Goes on a little too long, though.
((((4)))) Up tempo, kinda Minutemen-ish 70’s, lo-fi rock. Vocals are mixed a little too loud but otherwise good.
