Short pieces from a jazz-minded quartet w/sax and violin. It borrows from serious-minded '60s jazz for the more composition-heavy pieces (like 3,11, 12, 16, 17). But there's a lot of group improvisation too -- tracks like (2,7) for instance, focus on one abstract sound, like a rustling or grinding, sustained by the band through a short improvisation. Don't miss the tuba on tracks like (9,10,11). FCC clean.

- Calm bass solo, relaxed theme, vicious carnivore sax.
- A skittish, low-level buzz
- Free jazz: busy bass and drums, slow cello/sax theme.
- A heavy-duty buzzing, into perky improv
- Cartoony faux-march
- Busy and small. Cute pizz. violin in there
- A nervous, quavering wavelength
- Slower themes, a calm serious feel.
- Wild improv with tuba.
- Bright mid/fast jazz improv with tuba.
- A calm jazz recital with tuba, and busy busy drums underneath
- Cutesy phrase transforms onto blaring sax
- Snappy little beat
- High-pitched swirling
- A cooking little jazz jam - the longest track (6 mins.)
- Hovering feel, blossoms into a regal theme.
- Catchy drum & tuba rhythm. '60s-sounding faux-African themes.
- Cute theme. Then a pause, and a short "hidden" track.
