Royal Bangs/ Let it Beep
Indie rock with a distorted yet slick feel. Royal Bangs are a quintet from TN. Colorful music almost like a bizarre, distorted disco rock. Lots of fast and loose beats. RIYD: Generationals, Passion Pit, Mason Proper, Love Language, MGMT, Animal Collective FCC’s on 2,3,7 (I loved 7, too bad it has an FCC…)

1. ** Nice upbeat, catchy grooving melody with a grunge rock yet pop-rock feel. 2. FCC : “fuck” guitar and sounds like a truck backing up in beginning, cool energy in guitar melody- too bad it has an FCC 3. FCC jangly percussion, spastic vocals but then it develops into a catchy mid-tempo melody 4. off-kilter beat and guitar faced paced percussion, techno synths, synthesized voices 5. ultra synth smog 6. **claps, piano, simpler and cute lovey song 7. *** FCC fun upbeat, rollicking good time rock song 8. ** smacking percussion, blended with heavy guitar and low-key vocals, cleans up at choruses with synths and cleaner guitar, slower tempo but cool 9. *** intense opening, upbeat and crazy-fast fun 10. wavering, weird guitar and mush of synths and sounds then turns into weird funky beat with very simple synth melody light, wordless singing 11. ***mid-tempo, funkadelic bed for nice, simple, upbeat melody 12. *** mid-tempo, driving beat, electric guitar and synth, cleaner, catchy song, watch it basically ends at about 3:30, or 30 seconds until end.
