Awesome split between 2 Indianpolis bands first the raging metallic-power violence & hardcore of The Dream is Dead then The Gates of Slumber doom the fuck out with an ace Samhain (the Danzig one) cover.
BOTH SIDES = 45 RPM
SIDE A – TDID side
((((((1))))))) Twisted Sister cover (it’s the best song on “Stay Hungry”) done up all, super pissed off and sludgey & thrashy. Some of their songs were just meant for this treatment.
(((((((2))))))) Fast & harsh power-violence with a nice sludgey breakdown. Sorta like No Comment crossed with Fistula.
((((((((SIDE B/The Gates of Slumber)))))))) KILLER crushing doom with spot-on Danzig-like vocals (super identical too). Dunno the orignal but damn this is sooo amazing!
