bomb ass icy electro beats w/ hella creative found sound sampling/top notchsynths/goofy clicky polyrhythms/space disco/thick layers of noise/hypnotic pulses in structures. dude has gotten even better since his first album this bliss. you should have a big boner for this already if you like four tet, luomo, flying lotus, lindstrom, dfa records, m83, ulrich schnauss, et al. fcc clean
- shimmering field recording of a car engine with vaguely raga drone and twinkly bells that blows my mind ever time. swells into something a pure noise band would even be proud of, but then these guys throw it into icy/house mode at 1:40. neatoskeeto.
- shimmering rattling satellite bass disco from saturn. hell yes. great martian calypso countermelody, vibrations in my oasis calypso spacesuit.
-twilite zoney spacey intro, mellow mellow mellow electro for an 11 euro a drink bar that is made of ice but full of anorexic models who still look good because they were raised on venison and reindeer sausage. okay. so maybe its just techno, sue me.
-this track features panda bear so you will play it more often for no particular reason other than the fact that it is great. popper structure, heavy low end, loopy pandabearvox, bleepybloops, warmth, repetition, delay, bliss.
- menacing bass sounds, would sound great on huuuuge speakers, wow, what a bass, holy snap, did i mention the bass? this is exactly what i want to dance to at my most blessed out, about a three feet away from the speaker at 433 am. (hook me up holt, jack?)
-more minimal atmosphere accentuates a nasty whip snare, shifty hypnotic trance piece with a serious build that slays you. this bass is even bigger than the norteno tuba music coming from next door
-you know how big i said the bass was on the song before, double that. and then add some dude who sounds like the egyptian lover, and a nasty crunch. killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer track.
-one of the greatest achievement thus far in twinkly arpeggiated polyrhythmic iced out faux-calypso vibraphone electro house
- airy ethereal vox, much more mellow, chill, much closer to dreampop than dance music
-shoegazer masterwork that sounds like it could be a missing track from slowdive's souvlaki. its that good.
- twinkly downtempo space disco masterpiece of rushing water and masterful bell polyrhythms, reminiscent of 'saturn strobe' his first hit single
