What. The...? Fun, ironic, silly, synth-pumpin’ electro-pop, nasal mostly-spoken (brilliant!) vocals by none other than the inimitable Fred Schneider (of the B-52s). Belongs in rank with Flight Of The Conchords / The Aquabats / They Might Be Giants. This 7-track EP only has three original songs on it (1, 2, 7), and yet, it’s totally worth your time. The day before they released the “Who Threw That Ham At Me” single, Paula Deen got clocked in the face with a frozen ham. Fucking rad.

*1. plinky keys & ufo noise. bizarre spoken word narrative, over-the-top fat bass. about getting knocked up by alien ladies. “it wasn’t long before we deduced we was gonna get seduced.”
*2. disco! horns! synth! the title is “who threw that ham at me”. ‘nuff said.
3. remix of track 7. minor keyed, downtempo, slightly ghosted. high-pitched dart synth and string effects. backing soary chick vocals.
