A Jugalbandi (duet) performing Indian classical with
Annupama (Hindustani) on sitar and V K Raman
( Carnatic) on bansuri (flute). A great meeting of
Southern & Northern styles. Recorded in Raleigh
North Carolina in 2006. Good technical info in the
liner notes on the ragas. With Tabla & mridangam
****1: 10:52 an evening hymn dedicated to Ganash, Kicks into
gear at 3 min., sizzling sitar towards the end.
*****2: 36:45 a night raga with a long & intense execution, picks up 10 min in then overdrive 21 min in. nice percusson solo.
***3: 10:34 noodling for 5 min. then nice flute, sitar & percussion usually played in the morning from a folklore theme.
