Happy indie pop/rock with lots of Brazilian influence. F vocals with a bit of Euro accent. Guitar/bass/drums with bits of keyboard, sax, exotic percussion.
+1.2 songs in one. Verses have light Brazilian feel, chorus is straight-up pop.
2.Clavinova with blues/jazz feel intro, then indie Tropicalia lyrics in Spanish
+3.Most Brazilian sound so far, dance beat, happy guitar but so many key changes it’s a little distracting. Spanish lyrics and “bop bop ba bop”s.
4.Quiet guitar, gentle woodblock & faux-cricket rhythm. English lyrics don’t bear close listening but the vocals are fine, a little M vocal backs too. Nice little kbd solo.
5.Jaunty organ, loose drums, hint of circus reggae verse, light pop chorus. Spanish lyrics.
+6.Ah that tropicalia sound again, makes me want to kick back with a capirahana. On the other hand it is close to “lite jazz” and rather repetitive.
7.More home-recording sound than others. Spanish lyrics and some distracting key changes. Good piano/standup bass interludes.
8.slow, ¾ time M speaking vocal intro, then F vocal, about woman looking for a new man? Kinda strange sound. Louder end.
+9.Spanish singing, gentle Brazilian guitar, beach waves. “la silencio de la noce” ooh I understood a lyric!
+10.Brazilian, more upbeat/”daytime” than prior number, downright fast after the intro. Interesting synth joins the guitar/percussion. Summery middle, dreamy end.
11.3/4 time, 60’s sound, ode to surfer boyfriend who dies at sea
