Arvo Pärt: Portrait featuring Angèle Dubeau and La Pietà
Arvo Pärt is one of my favorite composers of the 20th century (1935-?) and this is a very good and delicate recording of some of his well-known works. A highly revered Estonian composer incorporating many aspects of the minimalist music movement since the late 1970's, his roots are in Georgian chant and self-made compositional technique called tintinnabuli.
