Fabriclive. 51 ā The Duke Dumont
Reviewed by Enzomanic 7/06/10
The Duke Dumont feels totally free in collecting and remixing 11 sonic treasures of pure electronica that blend together taking the listener to an inspiring journey. This readio mix is rich in uplifting melodies and mellow beats. Try 3,4,5,8,9
1) Ambient, melodic synths intro. 2) Midtempo, 80ās dreamy nā trance-y beat. 3) Midtempo, atmospheric melodies, mellow and minimal beats, pleasant and smoth mix. 4) Starts with dreamy and light ambient textures, develops into dubstep-ish beat, then both beat and textures blend together, wow! 5) Midtempo, Trance-y synth melodies and break beats. 6) Downtempo, two constant electronic kick patterns are mainly filling the sonic space, dreamy synth pads emerge from it and blends smoothly. 7) Midtempo, fuzzy house beat with kinda video game-y repetitive synth melodies. 8) Midtempo, glitchty break beat, ascending synth pad patterns. 9) Downtempo, organized chopped melodic synth leads emerged from a collapsing textures, trance-y and mellow beat. 10) Midtempo, ambient sound of child-like toy bells, break beat emerge at 1:16. 11) Downtempo, experimental and organized beats accompanied with chorus and female vocals, perfect place for Portishead to conclude the remix.
