Dreamy Swedish pop. Breathy vocals and stunningly beautiful surreal soundscapes. This album has a lush surreal sheen to it that makes it like no other. Lyrics are smoothly optimistic in a blurry, drug-educed glow. Enya’s got nothing on this. FCC CLEAN
1. Slow, lilty piano ballad about club life. Combines some lyrics from well-known pop songs.
2. Upbeat with lots of drums and percussion. The song slowly gains momentum as some amazing electronic elements and what sounds like panpipes are added to the mix.
*3. Slow, intricate guitar intro with some drugged out lyrics. All of the sudden, jj releases a cascade of deep resonating drum rhythms and keyboard. Dreamy. (This song was released as the “single” by Secretly Yours Records)
*4. Skittery electronic intro with sweeping strings, ghostly vocals, and kalediscopic effects. Chill vocals gently skate on the surface, as the rhythms become harder and more complex. At the end there are dueling xylophone and guitar solos with some recorded commentary of a foreign soccer match. Gorgeous.
*5. Slow acoustic intro leads into a ambient landscape with lustrous electronics and shimmering keyboards and marshmallow skies…
6. Upbeat electronic rhythm with layered vocals and acoustic guitar slides and xylophone. Lots of subtle string elements. Super happy-go-lucky.
*7. Slow echoic Enya stuff leads into a faux-climax in the middle with lots of excellent percussive elements, then dies down and peaks again into a wonderful jungly rhythm for the last minute and a half.
*8. Catchy acoustic hooks and dreamy lyrics with lots of snappy percussion and subtle ambient washes in the background.
9. Epic closing track. Lots of cascading drums, violin pizzicato and LogicPro distortion out the wazoo.
