Atmospheric, lush melodic distortion. Ambient drone and a good dose of MBV and Lovesliescrushing worship. Slow, lovely, dreamy noise by Kyle Parker out of LA. This is the soundtrack to a deep-sea expedition with the Root Strata crew(this isn’t from Root Strata, though). No FCCs.
*1. Blissful distorto layers into light keyboard melody. (5:30)
2. Solo string figure, ascending reverbed tones, sparse interlude. (1:58)
3. Ambient crowd sounds filtered through sustained organ chords. (3:59)
*4. Rumbling waves of dense guitar distortion crashing up against the organist. Tense and a little bit psychedelic. Second half gets a little bit warmer. (5:09)
5. Shorter, dreamy staccato tones echoing. (1:20)
6. Lighter synthesizer wanderings with lots of delay. (2:59)
7. Rhythmic guitar chords build up and slow release with skittery guitar and deep oceanic drone stretching it out to the 7-minute mark. (7:13)
*8. Reverb-soaked warm organ key fluttering. A beautiful little refrain. (1:43)
9. Another little dreamy organ riff repeated a few times. (1:30)
*10. Collage of looped pianos chiming, some guitars come in to construct a beautiful wall of complex, melodic tones. Finally some searing distorted guitar. (6:58)
11. Darker, mysterious, eerie. (2:38)
