Sean Lennon and his model girlfriend make music. Much more inspired by Serge Gainsbourg than the Beatles: sounds like eerie psychedelic French pop. The whole album is slow (mostly acoustic) and all tracks are pretty indistinguishable. They both sing on all tracks. No FCCs. Try 1, 8.
*1. Guitar, tambourine, sweet background chorus. Great harmonization.
2. Apparently, brains are like cream cheese. WTF? Whatever, dreamy eclectic French pop. Sean on lead vocals.
3. Gentle finger picking on guitar. Kind of creepy, actually. Psychedelic sound effects towards end.
4. Cool guitar line. Some sort of moog going off in the background, as well as what sounds like droplets falling and tongue clicking.
5. Slide guitar and a guitar solo halfway through. Meh.
6. Very pretty. Celesta harmonizes guitar line. Banjo solo towards end.
7. Rain! Nice, quick finger picking in chorus. Some cool percussion sounds towards end.
*8. Really awesome a capella track. Very eerie. Cricket noises at end.
9. Back to guitars. A little bit of accordion gives the song a bit of a vintage-y feeling. Very French poppy, sweet and retro. Ends with 50s of cricket sounds.
