Lo-fi pop duo from philadalphia. Female vocals with male backing vocals and standard guitar/bass/drums. Laid back and subdued; the guitars especially seem to be content strumming along a single chord at constant pace. Nonetheless, it's hazy, happy pop with lo-fi harmonies and a touch of dreaminess. I like it a lot.
RIYL Best coast, Generationals, Mika Miko, Vivian Girls
I like 11, 6, 10, 8, 4, 1 the most. They're all playable-y good though
No FCCs
Track length was haphazardly kept with my phone's stopwatch. Take these as approximations (totally unnecessary I know, but I really like knowing track times).
A
1.* 4:00 subduedly(?) celebratory vocals. especially pop-y instrumentals. layers of guitar and vocals work
2. 3:16 More percussive and slightly dissonant vocals. Almost freak folky
3. 3:20 rolling, sour-twinged vocals over a fast strumming guitar
4.* 4:20 soft and elongated vocals. melancholic and slower
5. 1:04 Faster and dancier. Short and catchy jangle
6.* 4:20 Cheesy love song melodies meet lofi harmonies. Smooth and surprisingly endearing. Evolves into layered crooning/toe tapping. My second favorite
B
7. 3:15 Peppier vocals. Not anything really special
8.* 2:58 With synth! Dramatic sing-songy 60s vocals. Almost like Architecture in Helsinki
9. 3:05 Very active guitars. Almost surf-like
10.* 3:30 Bass-drum beat with great instrumental flourishes and melancholic vocals. Evolves into a straight pop.
11.* 4:00 It's the title track. one of the poppiest too. My favorite
12. 3:30 A nice little goodbye track. Smooth and dreamy
