Creepy, glitchy, extraterrestrial sound experiments from a new Finnish avant-garde duo. Reverbed ambient synth is layered erratically over discordant loops of noise while other bits of non-melody constantly interrupt with their endless chatter. Kaleidoscopic avant-garde video game/refrigerator music that stubbornly refuses to resolve any of the tension it builds—this is astoundingly weird stuff that gets more interesting by the minute. Perfect for late-night DJs who have run out of caffeine.
(All tracks awesome, and they start/end abruptly—why not play them all?)
1. (3:00) A short burst of refrigerator drone prompts all narrow-minded listeners to tune out; then we get a brief, wild synth/noise concerto
2. (6:35) schizophrenic theremins, swirling noise, transmissions from broken satellites
3. (9:32) 8-bit glitch madness slowly morphs into Finland's answer to KFJC
4. (5:51) A chorus of broken toy instruments (I think I hear xylophones, rattles, recorder, and bells among the fuzz) crying out in pain, begging to die
5. (11:16) A broken dial-up connection sings an aria, and soon enough everything is enveloped in layers of looping “pretty” noise ambience
