(CLEAN) Amadeus The Stampede “Screwface” (Stampede Media Entertainment)
Holding the torch for the true skool tradition of battle raps aimed at wack emcees and other assorted undesirables, Stratford, Connecticut emcee Amadeus The Stampede unapologetically beats down any comers against the sonically frenetic backdrop provided by his production partner in crime, Nox Beats. Nox chops up some random video game digital sounds over simple boom bap drum programming. Nothing remarkable, but it beats a lot of hip hop that’s out there.
