Revivalist oldschool emo (aka screamo) by a trio of high school kids from Pomona, CA. The recording is kind of muddy and overly compressed, but the music is AMAZING! Totally heartfelt, lots of sensitive quiet parts in between the screams, lots of nostalgic chords (hanging major sevenths), and luckily none of the lyrics are comprehensible so you don’t have those “ugh” moments when confronted with the ugly emotions of teenage boys. Love this!

RIYL: early Shai Hulud, Anomie, Saetia
Faves: the whole thing.

1. 40 second slow build, right to business, quiet part with gentle guitar, then another loud part
2. More dissonant, a lot of internal turmoil
3. Alternates between slower and plodding, and fast sections
4. :31 seconds long, alternates clean guitar and screaming/bashing
5. The hit. Starts slow and sensitive, then has a super urgent ending.
