Eli Escobar: Happiness

This is a really fun classic house production by Eli Escobar, featuring the vocal contributions of Nomi Ruiz and Vanessa Daou on certain tracks. Escobar provides some straight-up funky house productions as well as some out-there trippy synth work. In my opinion, his straight-up house stuff is really good, especially #1 "Happiness, Pt. 2", #2 "I Need U", and #5 "Miss My Luv". Sometimes he gets a bit too heavy-handed with the synths. But there are also some super-funky tracks like #11 "Phreeky" featuring the vocal stylings of Daou & Ruiz.

6. (6:40): Synth-heavy deep-house; the middle features some goofy electronics
7. (5:19): Synth-heavy again, lots of melodies bouncing back & forth w/ R&B vox samples
8. (5:59): Ruiz's sexy vocals over this bouncy Latin-flavored house track
9. (9:28): The longest track features bubbling synths and a deep tech-y bassline
10. (0:48): Quick little synth snippet based on track #1
11. (5:47): Latin-disco-funk here, super-funky vocals & groovy guitars
12. (3:22): A sweet little ballad-y track here featuring Ruiz's sexy vox
