Easy...hold onto your hats here, not for the faint hearted. Slow gravelly shamanic trance. This is hypnotic dark chanting straight from the depths. 1) Yan-Drub (23.52) Throaty, mean & mesmerizing. Carries on with whale song like sounds, rich & atmospheric. Cut at 13:13 if you have to. Dead until 13.22 – More wailing drone like waves – Wakey wakey eggs & bacey at 15.40 louder chanting – Reverts to the beginning for the final five minutes.
2) Long Life (21.29) The deep gruff magic continues – Carries on from the end of the previous track, this ends at 4:18 – A new segment with a cleaner industrial feel. Pots are banged & the foghorn blasts away. Various other times to fade before it softens completely. Jingle jangle & then the beast reappears...
