Nsimbi is a collaboration between Zamba, Ugandan hip-hop artist, and Tamar, an American singer-songwriter, recording engineer; using English and Swahili as well as other African languages and instruments they produce a very pleasing, rhythmic sound

No FCC's; Favorite tracks: 2, 5, 12

1-- Dunia ni matembezi – 4:02 – nice rhythm – Zamba and Tamar trade lyrics and languages with chorus

*2—Leo ni Leo –4:29 – pretty marimba backing chorus and solos

3—Mujje –4:51 – light calypso-like rhythm with English lyrics and African hiphop interlude as well as a bit of ululation at end

4—Omugga –4:45 – Zamba speaks in English and African language with rhythmic musical background; Tamar chimes in with English

*5 –Forsaken – 6:31 – devastating story with beautiful music

6 –Koona –4:04 – calypso-like with African lyrics

7 –Acholi Boy –2:15 – touching spoken story-poem in English with lovely marimba background

8 – Gonna Be Alright –2:03 – Tamar sings this gently rocking song in English with asides from Zamba

9 –Flower of the Heart – 4:28-- syncopated song in English and African language with chorus

10- Kulusozi- :37 – spoken word with stringed instrument

11—Moonglow –5:31-catchy music with chorus and singer in African language

*12—Sokota ft jaja basgengezi –4:13 – interesting sounds over pretty percussion

13—Amaka – 4:05-- slower paced with dreamier accompaniment; history given in English
