Somewhat prolific singer, smooth schooled vocals, well produced, has a backing band and guest musicians- piano, various classical and folk stringed instruments. Pretty music. Not at all raw though. I want the rage fear soul and sex that can make folk so much fun… well this isn't folk, slightly folky and country-fusion-rock. Someone else might want to review this. Comments?
.acoustic guitar/piano/singing intro made me think this record would be folk, like Judy Collins.
.rock that doesn't rock, but it'll make the elementary school crowd dance around.
.pretty. Piano and quiet drums
.Ah mandolin, I luv it. If there was more mandolin and less guitar I'd have no hesitation recommending this one but it builds to conventionality. Alison Krauss guests
.the beat that'll make you nod your head in the supermarket
.fun piano part! But like #4 the part I like is quickly buried. Still its OK. Country/western
.nice bluegrass number w/some banjo. "when I'm 64" sentiment
.military snare keeps beat, minor key
.pretty acoustic guitar number, accordian flourishes, mostly singing.
