Voice of a 60’s folk-jazz star, sound of early-90s once-downtrodden newly-privileged songwriters. So young, so full of rightousness. Has its moments.

OK maybe I’m being too hard on him. He does a decent job, its just that some tracks are formulaic. Will try to focus on the positive.

1.slow café tune. Full band- simple drums, horns, harmonized vocals.
2.mid-slow. shoulders wriggle in tune with the music
3.slow, acoustic guitar + voices, drums and horns more subtle
+4.bongo + bass before guitar for cool jazz effect
+5. minor key peacenic
+6.voice jazzy electric piano. A few other instruments join in later.
+8.just guitar & voice. nice picking, quiet. Lost love
10. 3/4 time
+11.march with synth tuba, kinda Dixie.
+12. easygoing
