Wonderful indie pop. Understated male voc w/some fem backup, full band sound- guitar based, human drummer, electric bass, some pedal steel, rhodes, trumpet, horns, saw, etc. From east bay, some stars help out on this freshman effort (I think Seagal from Camper Van B. engineered this). All clean.
++1.Great summer pop! Lite but not trite and upbeat. Conversation snippets with rich chorus
+2.mid-fast minor key
3.Makes me want to do a slow shuffle dance, tho it aint too slow.
+4.mid-60s beatle-esque, yeah. Minor key sexual longing. Some piano tinkling in middle, builds to chaotic end
5.a little calypso sound
+6.Written on a down day, looking at the ground & feeling discouraged & singing loud about it. Ends a little chaotically.
7.mellow improvised instrumental
+8.Boppy, fun horn section
9.Big 3/4 countrified number- singer/songwriter
