Epic, blackish/extreme metal from Trondheim, Norway. Overall a very big sound, vast enough to visual commanding a giant Viking boat through rough waters. Some of those oft-mentioned “progressive” influences that don’t (often) get in the way of the aggression & focus. In the realm of recent Enslaved, Behmeoth, and maybe even a little bit of Nile.

(((1)))) Nice intro track.
(((((2)))) Continuing moving outward, sharp riffing, blast beat, cylical tempos pulled back and forth. Really nice.
(((((3))))) Excellent blast and varied (but again audible) vocals, very story telling vibe.
(((((4))))) Awesome build up (sonic close ups of fingers ‘cross the frets sounds) into a thrashy, blackened to epic/melodic tune. The “prog” diversions go on too long but it manages to stay afloat.
(((5))) Decent but out of place Judas Priest/Testament style track.
((((6)))) Melodic, riffy and aggressive. Great guitar and drum sound. Vocals play too great of a role but get the job done regardless.
(((7))) Long intro, kind of ballad-y, but after 3:25 it blasts like mad and has narration (?) Should be two separate songs but kinda works.
((((((8)))))) Big, cinematic-like gates opening into blasting blackened/thrashy-death metal with melodic verses. Awesome! “None of you are worthy!”
(((((9))))) Melodic, thrashin’ modern epic metal with LOTS of blastin’ drums. Really good vocals, riffs & soloing.
