Jon Cleary doing an album of classic Allen Toussaint songs. New Orleans funk, down-home blues, jazzy, jumpin’ and joyous. Killer all the way through. ‘Nuff said. No FCC’s.

1. (3:28) Mid. Dr. John guests on vocals and guitar on this N’awlins groover.
2. (2:39) Mid. Title track. Handclaps, tambourine, great chorus of voices.
3. (3:43) Mid. Funky, reggae walk.
4. (3:16) Mid. Upbeat, funky keys, awesome percussion. Classic.
5. (4:01) Slow / Mid. Mellow with claps, understated guitar, piano, drums.
6. (2:57) Mid. Bluesy acoustic guitar, wah-wah electric guitar, driving percussion. Killer.
7. (2:40) Slow / Mid. Classic R & B, beautiful take.
8. (2:15) Mid. Upbeat chorus of vocals with a Killer bass vocal, piano. Sublime.
9. (3:15) Slow / Mid. Easy-going, sparse, back-porch folksy, bluesy number.
10. (3:13) Slow / Mid. Mellow, funky keys, wah-wah guitar, backing vocals. A beauty.
11. (2:47) Mid. Handclaps, double bass, tambourine, piano. Upbeat and blissful.
12. (2:55) Slow / Mid. INSTRUMENTAL. Starts slow then builds into a near jump-boogie.
