FOLK/SINGER-SONGWRITER LOVERS, Will is a VIRGINIAN college student with just enough southern accent to complete his great voice and give justice to his strong, original, honest songwriting. He’s just getting started, but Will already has the AVETT BROTHERS sound down and is in the process of making a full band. This is his solo debut album, released in October 2013. All of these songs are very clean-sounding acoustic guitar and voice.
****1. (4:52) You’ll be singing this chorus for days. Just play it.
****2. (7:13) VERY minor FCC’s towards end (damn, hell, bitch), song could easily be cut at 3:24 if concerned. BEST SONG on the album, I think.
***3. (3:10) Very Americana, rolling, finger-picked, warm-sounding guitar, beautiful voice
**4. (3:18) A little more up-beat, more folksy
**5. (3:44) Beautiful love song, finger-picking again
**6. (4:01) A little more up-beat, good song but needs accompaniment
****7. (3:10) Will’s accent perhaps at its best. Just enough energy, another one of his great choruses
****8. (3:59) Back to finger-picking, great story, wonderful singing, picks up energy when he starts strumming
