Another treasure from Chris Strachwitz & Arhoolie Records. A wonderful collection of New Orleans & Louisiana musicians, recorded just a few months before Katrina. It's all here; Cajun, Zydeco, blues, male, female, fiddle, harp, accordion & piano.
1-6: Violiln & acoustic guitar, French Cajun vocals.
3. Female vocal with clarinet.
7. Lowdown moanin' blues
8. Oldtime bluesy stroll
9-12: solo blues piano & vocals
13. Jumpin' fiddle & squeeze box
14. Very soulful loping harp & fiddle with French Creole vocals
