1970’s Algerian music that mixes a psyche pop flare w/ traditional Muslim melodies and male vocal stylings, call to prayer. Trumpets in front, funky kick ass percussion and trippy organs that summon the ghost of Sun Ra. Man this is the shit, super groovy rhythms.
1)* (6:05) begins w/ trumpet, organ and near call-to-prayers solo, kicks into a bad assed funky romp
2)* (4:19) upbeat urgent w/undeniable beat, strange off time
3) (5:54) similar to previous, but w/ a great uleleating scream
4)* (6:23) kick ass, like track 1
5) (5:14) hypnotic, male vocs in front
6) (5:37) love love love this cool rhythm, once it kicks in after good chunk of hypnotism
7) (4:59) again like track 1, minimal organ w/ solo vocs, trumpet to start, then another romp at the oasis
8)* (4:54) groovy cool wah wah’ed guitar in intro, then a laid back funkiness sets in
