Fuck yeah! Johnny Whitney from the motherfucking Blood Brothers is back where he belongs -- molesting a microphone. Here’s a “side project” release with former Blood Brothers guitarist Cody Votolato, who, despite also being (probably) talented, doesn’t have the trademark screech pipes. Precursor EP to what is apparently Jaguar Love’s SOPHOMORE record (Take Me To The Sea is in the KZSU library), which means I’ve been living in a rather large cave. Anyway, thank Christ! Just when I thought I would never see these kids live ever again!

Synthed-up hard-hitting dance punk from the very, very best. One-of-a-kind hardcore revival vocals over somewhat canned Gang Of Four beats, but so fucking what? Take your sell-out grumblings elsewhere. The Faint wish they were this punk rock. I am so excited about this tiny little EP. I am SICK AS SHIT and I am jumping up and down on my bed listening to this thing. Are you good with SAT analogies? Consider this to the Blood Brothers what Crocodiles’ Summer of Hate was for The Plot: Hardcore roots evident, but much more well-behaved. Full-length (Hologram Jams) drops in March.
