post punk pop.
uk duo. essentially, it's pop songs w/post-punk sound. wide array of instruments. whole thing is heavy process/layers=produced.
a damn fine pop album.
SOUNDS LIKE: zola jesus, gemma ray, blonde redhead, cave et al.

1. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: fem&mal voxbeat heavy propulsive. a really poppy zola jesus =kicks ass!
2. MEOW MEOW MEOW: fem&mal vox. glitchy begin. multi layered sound and heavy process. fuzzed out. it's got that nick cave swagger/jig.
3. fem vox. really poppy. kylie minogue-esque.
4. fem vox. dancy.
5. MEOW MEOW: mal vox. beatlesque. w/barret. bleeds into...
6. fem vox. heavy bass. slow, dancy...seducty...
7. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW:fem&mal vox. just a great fucking tune sad pop propulsion. dance or cry -you choose.
8. MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW: fem vox. a sad little piano piece -i like piano! sounds like gemma ray. it's a beaut.
