Fun, witty, deliberately retro alt-country-rock (or call it rockabilly) from this Atlanta-based trio. All 3 members play guitar & sing; one doubles up on bass. Barton Caplan is lead singer & songwriter. Three different guests provide drumming. Add keyboards on a few tracks, pedal steel guitar on two. Many tracks sound to me like Justin Townes Earle; others have some Gram Parsons or other influences. Very enjoyable debut album, start to finish.
