Slow Trucks / Ugly Winner: Other Things, Drained Dry

Split 7 inch on red vinyl (!) with Slow Trucks and Ugly Winner. Some slammin' indie rock with fuzzed out guitars and distorted vocals. Ugly Winner feels straight out of the period between grunge and indie, with some interesting twists.
A1: Straight ahead mid-tempo rocker with some fuzzed-out guitars and distorted, tape-delay laden vocals. Lovin' the texture of the guitars.
B1: Cleaner vocals with somewhat grungier guitars. This song feels a bit more conventional, I'd say stick to the A-side. Ugly Winner, um, wins!
