9.0/10.0
1. (4.17)- eeire, exotic, blurry
*2. (5.44)- ethereal, soulful, echoed loops of sound, lovely female vocal
3. (5.05)- contemplative grooves, spacey
*4. (6.03)- picking up the worried tones of the original and stretching them out into a Nuyorican Soul workout that eventually leaves all cares behind.
*5. (3.51)- ARP 101 pushes the vocals deep behind his signature tangled electronics
*6. (5.29)- emotional, bring a gritter dimension to the track
*7. (7.34)- contemplation, eerie, delicate
*8. (4.01)- non-album track, this track seems to indicate Bonobo’s bag of tricks are still pretty full, diversity
9. (5.10)- coffeehouse jazz, bare-bones instrumentation way in the back of the mix
*10. (3.35)- The already pensive mood of “Eyesdown” is ratcheted up to nearly unbearable levels in Machinedrum‘s drum ‘n’ bass interpretation
*11. (5.26)- spooky atmosphere, layers of eerie effects
12. (5.20)- moves even farther away from the original, as if the vocals were coming from the room next door, occasionally drowned out by what might be the sound of your heartbeat
*13. (7.03)- you can feel the warmth
14. (7.23)- a different vibe, the cooler, more mysterious sounds of the night versus the original’s warm, slightly mystical jazz of the daylight
