This husband and wife duo from Mali are true superstars in the genre of world music. Their vocals (and his guitar) intertwine to deliver hot and sophisticated Afro blues pop. It’s all amazing, every track worth a play. Mostly in French w/a bit of English thrown in here and there.
1. Upbeat w/e-guitar and a full driving sound. So cool and sexy.
2. Electronic vocal effects and dishy guitar in this mid/up jam.
3. Rich layers, anicely raw blues sound. Harmonica, vox. Wow.
4. Mid/upbeat w/almost an Afro-Samba sound. Great stuff.
5. Mid/upbeat bounce w/solid percussion & passionate vox.
6. Mostly midtempo w/vocal effects, horns, perc.
7. An upbeat Afro-Latin mix. Butt-shaking goodness.
8. Slow harp mourns into strings & vox. Serious Afro blues.
9. Mid/upbeat w/cool layers of vox & perc. Driving.
10. Mostly midtempo w/driving guitar & spoken vocals.
11. Mid/upbeat w/a mix of languages & a modern pop sound.
12. Relaxed into than sweet female vox picks up w/a chorus.
