Various Artists – Just Tell Me That You Want Me – A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac
Tribute albums are usually a mixed bag. This one has some nice moments. A range of artists tackle Mac from various periods, from the early Peter Green years of “Albatross” rendered here by Lee Ranaldo, to their later hits. Marianne Faithfull turns in a truly stunning version of “Angel”, red-hot Aussies Tame Impala tackle “That’s All For Everyone” from Tusk, and Billy Gibbons slows “Oh Well” down to a decrepit crawl. – Josh (Street Hassle)
