The German band, Super700, plays Euro, New-Wave (reminiscent of 1980s) rock. Many songs are synth based, but there are guitars as well. This is the group’s third full-length CD, following an earlier EP. Female singer Ibadet Ramadani is good, but not spectacular. Singing is in English.
No FCC issues
Slow. A mixed bag with spacey synth and hard-rock guitar. Uninspired singing. (3:53)
* Mid-fast, dreamy. Lush orchestral sound & pretty melody. Good singing. (3:43)
Mid-tempo. Lush synth, incl. strings. Strong vox, but lyric goes round & round. (3:57)
Mid-slow. A Song about love & hate. A bit dull sounding. Mainly piano & vox. (3:38)
* Mid-tempo. More guitar than other tracks. A bit of singer/songwriter folk-rock. (3:46)
* Start mid-slow, then accel & crescendo. Classic Euro pop. Good guitar and vox. (4:53)
** Mid-slow. Gorgeous pop ballad. Very nice alto vocal, graceful accompaniment. (3:40)
** Mid-fast. Hardest rock song on album. Steady driving beat. New Wave-ish. (2:22)
Mid-tempo. An odd experiment with varying forms, tempi & rhythms didn’t work. (4:07)
Mid-fast. Starts with “Chopsticks”-like piano intro. Then a dreamy & somewhat sluggish vocal is set atop a faster continuo accompaniment. (4:35)
* Mid-tempo. Feist-like folk-pop tune set to a bouncy acoustic guitar. Cute & fun. (3:03)
