Their 9th album keeps up their terrific mix of Celtic folk and world groove. You can’t help liking these guys, their energy is wild, electric, and totally catchy. The band has talent by the bucket load with acoustic guitars, accordion, strings, pipes, vocals and more.
*1. Instant energy, crazy fast w/cool vocals.
2. A touch of Latin, upbeat and so much fun.
3. Distant voices, percussion & plinky string leads right into #4
*4. Wildly fast vocals w/a midtempo bits. Nonesense lyrics!
5. Fast fiddling & percussion, changing tempos. Bongos?
*6. Midtempo w/a hint of country folk. Sweet fiddling.
7. Mostly midtempo sounds a bit like a sea chanty.
*8. Up/mid with great use of accordion, drums, strings.
*9. Mid/up folks, picks up when the whole band jams.
10. Lively mid/uptempo folk total fun. Great work from band.
11. Down/mid at first then picks up w/a cool Cape Breton sound.
12. Pipes & percussion duet uptempo & toe tapping.
*13. Slower & a bit melancholy, pick up energy & gets faster.
*14. Slow/mid. Kinda like Celtic blues. Very cool.
*15 Starts out at full speed, great pipes/percussion blend.
*16. Mid/up, great lyrics, total fun.
