Ambient meets slow, sparse electronica. Sounds like the soundtrack to a sci-fi movie (the promo compares it to the Blade Runner soundtrack). Maybe it was just because I read the Blade Runner thing, but definitely evoke a futuristic, industrial landscape where there's steam shooting out of everything and Harrison Ford is constantly scowling. Dreissk is an SF-based dude who got his start "mixing techouse and dark breaks." The tracks blend together when played straight through, but they're all definitely listenable. Most songs mix spacey drones with a deep, repetitive beat. Some build, some don't. Track 2/10 gets pretty epic. FCC clean.
1. (5:22) diffracting and resolving space noise, simple beat
*2. (8:58) slowly building stabby synths and more space noise, cacophonous convergence 2/3 through (or consider plaing track 10)
3. (4:54) slow synth melody with long pauses between notes, repeating breakbeat
4. (7:36) nearly ambient, piano, forceful beat enters toward end, swelling synths
5. (5:03) space drones and slow beat, string-y synths
6. (6:29) the scene in the movie where everyone is preparing for battle. It's not glamorous work, but someone has to do it.
7. (3:48) foreboding space noise, right before the alien attack
8. (6:13) music they would play at a new age-y spa but with some deep synths
9. (3:52) much more narrow sound, sounds like a real piano, ends with some nice drones
10. (4:30) radio edit of track 2, gets to the fun part sooner (less build, less payoff)
